Gordy’s County Market was established in 1966 on the south side of Chippewa Falls, WI by Gordy and Donna Schafer. The Schafer Family wanted to meet the grocery needs of the people of the Chippewa Valley with fresh products, low prices, and friendly service.

Over Forty years later, Gordy’s County Market now has six locations.  Gordy’s County Market remains the longest locally owned and operated grocery store in the Chippewa Valley.
·        In 2007 Gordy’s County Market built its first Express Gas Station at the Birch Street store location.

·        Since then, gas stations have been added to the downtown Chippewa Falls, Lake Wissota, and Eau Claire Hamilton Avenue stores.

·        Gordy’s County Market was the first to offer “pump perks program” allowing customers to scan gas savings right at the pumps. Our easy to use program is as simple as “Shop, Save, & Redeem”!

·        Buying from local vendors helps keep our communities strong. Be sure to look for our “Close to Home” signs in each of our stores and enjoy some of our regional’s best products available!

Gordy’s County Market is Proud to be Your Hometown Grocer. We strive each and every day to meet the needs of your family.

From the Schafer family, and the Gordy’s family …we thank
